What are the matchboxes made of?

Each Strike Society matchbox is made from high-fired porcelain with a glazed exterior finish. They measure 4.25 inches long by 2.5 inches wide by approximately 1.5 inches tall and contain 50 wooden safety matches.

Do the matches actually work?

Yes. The base of each matchbox features an integrated strike surface. These are fully functional safety matches — designed to be beautiful and useful.

Are the designs limited edition?

Yes. Each design is produced in a limited run. Once a design sells out, it is retired. We do not reprint. This is intentional — part of what makes each piece worth owning.

Who creates the designs?

Every Strike Society design is commissioned from an independent artist. We collaborate closely on each illustration, ensuring the final result feels timeless and unique to our collection.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Standard shipping takes 3-5 business days. Priority shipping takes 1-2 business days. You will receive tracking information once your order ships.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. Orders over $150 ship free. The 3-pack gift set qualifies automatically.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet. We currently ship within the United States only. International shipping is coming — sign up for our email list to be notified.

Is gift wrapping available?

Every order arrives gift-ready in tissue paper with a Strike Society brand card. The 3-pack gift set comes in a keepsake box — no additional wrapping needed.

Can I return my order?

All sales are final on limited edition pieces. If your order arrives damaged, we will replace it. See our full Returns Policy for details.

How do I care for my porcelain matchbox?

Wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Do not submerge in water. Keep away from extreme heat or cold. Display on a shelf, tray, or side table — away from high-traffic areas where it might be knocked over.

My item arrived damaged. What do I do?

Email us at jamie@strikesocietyco.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and the damaged item and your order number. We will respond within 1-2 business days.
